Other Future Potential Recognition riders to do well were Bundy Philpott (Cambridge) and Tresca NZPH who were fourth in the NRM CCI3* and Lizzie Green (Matangi) who was fifth aboard Comanche II and seventh on Marble Point in the Wairakei Resort CCN105 Championship. Defending CCI3* champ Emily Cammock (Christchurch) withdrew Shaw Lee after the dressage, saying she felt the horse just wasn’t 100%, however she placed fourth in the Wairakei Resort CCN105 Championship aboard Antara.
Talent Development Squad rider Abby Lawrence (Te Puke) and Anonymous were ninth in the Bates CCI2* Championship while ESNZ high performance director Sarah Dalziell-Clout (Masterton) took out the Equissage Young Event Horse National Championship aboard In the Moment.
